In Powerflex, SDC frequency for connectivity status checks

As per my understanding SDC driver is responsible for monitoring it`s connection towards SDS, through some heartbeat/keepalive and failure detection timeout settings etc.
MDM component collects such connectivity updates from SDC and generates events, which can seen by using showevents.py from MDM node.
But how can we know on how frequently SDC performs such connectivity checks, where can we see such parameter details, whether these are configurable etc., suppose to perform some comparison between different versions of powerflex.

Hello Anq,

Which powerflex system do you have as you didn’t stat that in your original post? What is the os version that is running on your powerflex system? Which os is running on your hosts?

@DELL-Sam L

We have two different environment setups, using different versions of powerflex/scaleio. Have no powerflex GUI module installed.
SDC module installed on the servers (where applications are running) are communicating to SDS nodes (servers, acting as storage node) for any application read/write operations.

1) New-Setup
Product: DellEMC PowerFlex Version: R3_6.400.107
Host OS (hosting SDC component, scini.ko driver): SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP2
Host OS (SDS node) : SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP3

2) Old-Setup
Product:  DellEMC ScaleIO Version: R2_5.2.102
Host OS : Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS (for both SDC and SDS servers)

Hello Anq,

When you deployed your new setup did you use the following guide?

Yes, and I think your point is regarding the " Performance Parameters".
We already checked such parameters by using scli (like scli --query_performance_parameters --all_sdc/all_sds --print_all) and also through "drv_cfg" utility present on SDC node (like --query_diag_counters, --query_dynamic_parameters).
But not able to figure out which parameters are responsible for below highligted delta between older (v2.x) and current (v.3.6.x).

Hello Anq,

It is best to open a support case for this issue as we will need to gather some more environment information and a few other things to see that is going on.
