Hello,

What plugin are you trying to activate?

Have you retried periodically in case it was a temporary issue?

Try these steps:

A different browser

Clear browser cache

Restart the appliance

If it is still not working then try these troubleshooting steps to see if any can help resolve the issue:

Verify Required Network Access

Ensure the OME appliance can reach the following URLs over TCP port 443:

URL

Purpose

https://esrs3-core.emc.com

Dell backend for plugin registration

https://ssgosghop.isus.emc.com

Secure Connect provisioning

https://downloads.dell.com

Firmware and catalog downloads

You can test this from the OME appliance using:

curl -kv https://esrs3-core.emc.com

Firewall and Proxy Configuration

  • Open port 443 outbound to the above domains.
  • If using a proxy:
    • Go to Application Settings > Console and Plugins > Proxy Settings
    • Enter proxy details and test connectivity.

DNS Resolution

Ensure OME can resolve external domains:

nslookup esrs3-core.emc.com

Hello Loosekannon, it's very likely that your system is in warranty because if you are using Apex plugin it means you paid for it.

Troubleshooting is all individual - it could be an issue with OME/Account/Network etc. To assist you properly I recommend raising an official ticket https://www.dell.com/support/incidents-online/en-us/contactus/Dynamic?msockid=02eec40b193f61d40967d131182a6092
