Dell OME Roles
Hi Team
I don´t know if it's possible....
I want that a AD group can only update firmware, using Firmware/Update option and using the Baseline, seems the Administrators only can do that, any other Role or Custom Role can´t see the Baseline when try to update so it's not possible.
Do you know if there'a any way other Role/Custom can do it
Thanks in advance

FernandoGP,
OME supports role and scope-based access control, but firmware baseline management and update privileges are restricted to specific roles.
Roles That Can Manage Firmware Baselines:
Super Administrator
Administrator
Device Manager (with limitations)
Custom Role (only if explicitly granted baseline management privileges)
However, even with a custom role, the ability to view and apply firmware baselines is limited by ownership and scope, as a Device manager user can only view and manage the firmware/driver baselines that the respective device manager created and owns.
So in other words, this means:
A Custom Role or Device Manager cannot apply baselines created by an Administrator.
They must create their own baselines to apply updates.
The Firmware/Update > Baseline workflow is not exposed to roles without full baseline privileges.
Let me know if this helps.
