All Firmware/Driver Compliance checks are failing
I'm not sure when this began, but it had to have been recently. Catalog updates are occurring without errors, however, all compliance checks are failing. I've not changed any settings recently and I can't find anything logged that might indicate what the issue is.
Any suggestions on what or where to check?

@nleva Oddly, I have no issues or errors downloading/updating the catalog. It's specifically when running compliance checks.

Interesting, what's your repository URL? perhaps you have a different catalog that still works?

Hi all,
There seems to be a general issue with catalog.xml file.
In OpenManage Enterprise, when I go to
Configuration -> Firmware/Driver Compliance -> [Catalog Management]
I see:
Repository Location: downloads.dell.com/catalog/catalog.gz
Catalog File: catalog.xml
Created date: Dec 31, 2024 11:35:24 PM
When one visits the previous link:
https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000132986/dell-emc-catalog-links-for-poweredge-servers
and clicks on the 1st two download links:
Download link: https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/Catalog.gz
Download link: https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/Catalog.xml.gz
and opens the 1st download file, the Catalog.xml file has the change date 02.Jan.2025.
The top of the XML file states:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<Manifest baseLocation="downloads.dell.com" baseLocationAccessProtocols="HTTPS" dateTime="2024-12-31T22:35:24+05:30" identifier="8fdd7ae2-16c9-4a81-9b09-5f3f1e42efdc" releaseID="TVPF2" version="25.01.06" predecessorID="937d3084-9306-47e5-93a9-d02f2889bdf3">
When opening the 2nd download file, the Catalog.xml file has the change date 01.Jan.2025.
The top of the XML file states:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
<Manifest baseLocation="downloads.dell.com" baseLocationAccessProtocols="HTTPS" dateTime="2024-12-31T22:35:24+05:30" identifier="65240db4-19aa-457e-b364-e0d5ef98cd83" releaseID="NX0PG" version="25.01.06" predecessorID="27f04eaf-ac34-4a9b-b66e-5c0c44df1ceb">
Looks like something went wrong at Dell,
with creating the latest config.xml definition files, with the files from the beginning of 2025 ;-)
This needs to be fixed!

It looks like Dell may have fixed this. It seems to be working for me now. Can anyone else confirm?

Hello, looks like we had a couple of cases reported this week and we had it fixed already. (https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/dell-openmanage-enterprise/ome-online-repository-not-working-downloadsdellcomcatalogcataloggz/68355f1df740117da1e116da) You can always start a new thread in the future should you run into another issue.
FYI OME is a free software however there are some paid features in OME if you want to explore further. ( https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/es-es/dell-openmanage-enterprise/ome_4_4_online_help_user_guide/licensing?guid=guid-615a018a-ebd8-4352-92e0-f7b532dbfa7f&lang=en-us )
