Sounds issues - Pro Plus and Pro Premium laptops

We started seeing something that cropped up between yesterday and today with audio issues on the laptops.  The computer doesn’t have an error message or display that anything is wrong.  The computer is just silent.  It is not isolated to virtual meetings or any particular app or function.  It is just completely silent, from the Windows bootup chime to, incoming Zoom IM’s, to just turning up and down the volume.  In addition, nothing in device manager displays anything to be wrong or malfunctioning.  A reboot does not fix it.  The only fix that I have seen is to install the audio driver.  Anyone else seeing this?  Various Dell Pro Premium and Pro Plus laptops.

Report to Dell Support (so they know). Sounds like they need to patch the audio-drivers.

Then, look for updated drivers at support.dell.com or Windows-Update (including in Advanced / Optional Updates / Driver Updates )
