Dell 16 Plus - "Reset to factory settings" option gone after choosing "Reset and update"
I have a Dell 16 Plus from summer 2025. I wanted to format or restore my pc and found "Reset and update" option more appetizing as new and updated sounds good. So i did that and it turned out worse than a "factory reset" and the option to do a factory reset disappeared after running the reset so i realy regret not choosing that option.
The device dosent show up on windows devices new portal anymore.
Im not sure if the reset and update function did anything to the recovery partition could somone maybe help me get the image and use Dell OS Recovery Tool or update os support assist to show the factory reset?

Please can you confirm the Make Model and OS, along with any configuration details like touch screen, backlit keyboard, SFF or tower etc etc.

Share the private Service Tag with them so that they can verify the ownership and warranty status. This will also generate a unique Technical Support case for your unique Service Tag.
