Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 DB06250 external display capabilities
Hello!
I just started using this laptop, and I'm quite happy with it.
I would like to use it with external displays on occasion. I took it to my office, and connected it to a Samsung G70B (UHD144Hz) display via HDMI. However, I could not get Windows (Win 11 25H2) to set the display beyond 3840x2160 at 60Hz.
At home later, I connected it to a UHD120Hz display via DisplayPort, making sure to use the 40Gpbs Thunderbolt port. With that as well, I was limited to 3840x2160 at 60Hz.
I know my displays and cables are good, because I use them with a plethora of other computers with the same cables.
I use Intel's "Driver & Support Assistant" to keep drivers up-to-date.
From what I am reading and searching, the integrated Intel Arc 140V within the Core Ultra 7 258V processor should be able to drive a UHD120Hz display, via either the HDMI 2.1 FRL port, or the Thunderbolt port, with proper cables.
Am I missing something in terms of the configuration, or is the information I'm reading not correct? I don't much care if it's not supposed to work or not supported; but if that's the case, it would be nice to find information confirming that. Intel's specs here indicate the max resolution is 7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz (8K), which usually means that 4K (UHD) 120Hz will work.
Thanks for any insight!

I brought the laptop to my office today for more testing, and have some updates.
I tested with two displays: a Samsung Odyssey G70B, and an MSI MAG321UX. HDR was enabled in all cases. Color depth/format can be changed using the Intel Graphics Software utility.
Despite the HDMI port being listed as 2.1 FRL in the specs, it would seem that HDMI output is being limited to 60Hz. This is disappointing, since most TVs only have HDMI inputs, and using a DP-to-HDMI adapter doesn't work-around it.
