16 Premium DA16250, U2725QE, slow charging at 90W

I just bought a new setup with a Dell Premium 16 DA16250 laptop and an U2725QE UltraSharp 27 4K thunderbolt hub monitor. I tried to do my best due diligence before buying, and saw that the thunderbolt hub monitor can deliver up to 140W via thunderbolt, AND saw that the DA16250 laptop comes with a 130W power supply. I read in some places that the "up to 140W" meant not all configurations would work, but I figured Dell hub --> Dell laptop would work. 

I bet you can predict...it's only delivering 90W to the laptop, and the battery icon says "slow charger, use a higher watt charger". It still powers and charges the laptop (even when the battery is depleted), and everything seems to work (hub, peripherals, etc.), but I'm unreasonably fixated on resolving the issue. I really want this to work and deliver 140W to the laptop, even if I don't need it to.

I've searched around and don't find any articles or posts that are directly on point with my particular setup, and even asking Chat basically says something like "it looks like it might work, but it just may not work". Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
