16 Plus DB16250, broken key, need replacement
Hi all,
Where can I go to find a replacement numberpad key for the Dell 16 Plus DB16250? The number pad key scissor mechanisms appear to be thinner than a standard key, and I don't know where to shop to find a replacement.

Contact Dell GHN (Get Help Now) chat technical support Monday through Friday. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Service Tag with them so that they can verify the ownership and warranty status. This will also generate a unique Technical Support case for your unique Service Tag. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offerings.
Dell does not offer individual key replacements. Typically, the entire keyboard assembly would need to be replaced when a key has failed. In this model, it seems the keyboard is built into the palmrest assembly so this entire component will need to be swapped out. Since the DB16250 is a newer platform, it'll be a bit more difficult to find parts via a 3rd party. I'd recommend contacting support to see if its a possible in warranty replacement, and if its not, then they can create a quote for repair should you choose to do so.
