16 Plus 2-in-1 DB06250, BIOS enhancement to disable local dimming
I have a Dell 16 Plus 2-in-1 DB06250. It has a mini-LED panel with local dimming. This local dimming is controlled at a level deeper than software drivers (e.g. I can clearly see it during bootup and in the BIOS). It's not a question of enabling or disabling HDR in Windows or toggling something in Intel's Graphics Software (I've tried).
I would really like a toggle to be able to turn it off for precision critical work like photo editing. An option in the BIOS would be great. Thanks!

Any update on this? It's very frustrating when doing photo editing work to have an inaccurate screen.

Maybe this is something that could be added to the Dell Optimizer app? (That has access to the Embedded Controllers for the fans, so presumably if might also access the controller for the backlight).

Am I posting in the wrong place? Do DELL engineers not look here? I'd appreciate even knowing a support tag was created. I find it very silly that we can't turn off or control this supposed "feature" of local dimming.
Surely this wouldn't take more than a few minutes between an engineer + Claude Code? I'd do it myself if I had the context.
