16 DC16251, how to conserve battery life?

Hello,
I just bought a new Dell 16 DC16251, however, I am mostly using my laptop on the AC adapter. Is there any way I can protect my battery? I have read the battery manual on dells website and it says that I cannot overcharge the battery and charging the laptop while at 100% will not affect it. Is there a way to be even safer? I saw an option in the Dell Optimizer and the UEFI about limiting how much the battery can charge (i.e charge below 50% till 90%). Is this feature available for my Laptop? I can't seem to find it in neither the dell application nor the UEFI.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dell has a power manager app that allows you to set up a custom charge strategy, or has automatic options.  Check on the Dell site, I recently installed it on my wife's Dell.  As to your original question, when using the laptop almost exclusively on A/C power, it is much better for the life of the battery to limit the maximum charge to no more than 80% and to keep it in the 40%  to 60% range when not being used for long periods.  My wife uses her laptop like a desktop, and rarely ran it on the battery.  The system would keep the charge at 100% as long as it was plugged in, and that original battery eventually began swelling and caused issues with loss of keyboard and touch screen function.  With the power manager app, that won't be a problem going forward as long as you don't set the upper charge limit too high.
