15 DC15255, my product review do-over

I regret the product review I gave when I first received my laptop. How can you give an accurate review within the first week? It WAS working great for about two weeks. I've been chatting with tech support multiple times a week for the past several weeks about issues with several drivers (video, sound, network, I've lost track). My advice in hindsight: If you are doing critically important, life-saving work, do NOT rely on this product. If you're OK with the challenge of, "You get what you pay for," be prepared for multiple glitches and invest in Dell Care Premium!

I bought a Dell 15 DC15255 in September 2025. It lasted about a month before it decided to retire early.

Credit where it’s due: The Good Guys in Midland (Perth) swapped it out without any drama.

Unfortunately, the replacement laptop apparently took inspiration from the first one and made it only 15 days before giving up as well.

Back to the store I went (again), and this time they replaced it with a different brand altogether.
(You can imagine my enthusiasm at setting up a laptop for the third time!.)

In short: I’d strongly recommend giving this particular model a wide berth.

@user_62ac48​ am i cooked? i also bought it on 18 nov with ryzen 7730u and its been a month now i think i should have researched more about laptops before buying it
