15 DC15250, keeps crashing loading Youtube video
My dell 15 dc15250 crashes whenever i play a video on youtube crashing displaying a video tdr failiure. the only thing i know is the fact that it is not a hardware issue its software and thats the reason im going here and not using support as my plan does not cover software issues due to this being bought on disability. i am very annoyed and feel like giving up i have had this fixed once but it re appeared again out of the blue please help me

First, I've purchased this same computer about 4 to 5 months ago. I suspect you haven't installed latest Video driver, firmware, BIOS and other necessary drivers from your Dell Product Support page.

If my suspicion is correct, you can use Support Assist application to install latest video driver. Just type Support Assist onto the search box and then let Support Assist do it thing.

You can also check Device Manager to see if latest video driver is on the computer. Right click window logo at the bottom of the screen, select device manager, expand Display Adapter, Intel Graphic, properties, driver - see image below:)

@LSUFAN51 yeah i tried this multiple times it keeps on saying something went wrong we couldnt complete the installation

Sorry Support Assist doesn't work normally. You could try updating the Graphic driver in Device Manager. In above image, expand Display Adapter, right click Intel Graphic driver, select Update, and then Search automatically for driver.

I fixed it but I had to send it back to fix the battery as for some reason it stopped turning on but that was a separate issue
