Windows 8 Recovery Media

I have lost all my data in my hard disk a couple of years ago along with windows 8. I did not create a backup of the operating system at that time. I was using another operating system and now my hard disk broke down again. I wish to return to my original windows 8 setup (the one that came with the laptop when I bought it) with new hard disk but in the website for my service tag the windows 8 recovery media does not exist. Is there a way to get my original windows 8 so that I can install new win 8 with the new hard disk?
