SDD unbootable after FW update
DDP/ST data protected SDD unbootable after FW update > unrepairable by standard MS repair options.
Is there any DELL bootsector repair tool for DDP/ST data protected media?

Hello Chrispie2006,
Was the SSD still protected via the PBA\Security Tools application when the firmware was updated? If so the first step would be to remove the SSD hardware protection via the bundle created when you first setup Security Tools on the system. Once the recovery process is run we should be able to use any standard partition recovery tool to rebuild the hard drive file system.
The recovery guide for the PBA can be found at the below link in section four.

If you need assistance during this process please feel free to reach out to our dedicated support queue 24/7 at 877-459-7304 ext. 4310039.
Thanks!
