NO VERIFICATION CODE OR ONE TIME PASSWORD

For the past few days I have wasted hours and have been going around in circles with Dell Tech Support and Dell Customer Care Department, trying to sign in to my Dell account through Dell.com as well as the utility app Support Assist.  Technical support referred me to customer care who told me he could not find my email address, although it was still in their system.  How else would the system respond to sending me a verification code or one-time password, which I never get!  He told me to create a new account, which I wasn't able to do because the email already existed in their system.  THIS HAS BEEN EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND TIME CONSUMING!!!

Well, I have received their OTP to my email, but it does not work.

This is the worst problem with Dell.com. I just spent 2 hours repeatedly pressing the "Resend code by email" button until it finally worked. 95% of the time, it fails to send any verification code at all, sometimes it sends it, but its already expired because it's only valid for 10 minutes, but it took more than 10 minutes for me to receive the code.

Changing my email address isn't a solution, because Dell's Digital Locker purchases are tied to the email address used to purchase them, so even if I change my email address associated with my Dell account to a different address that does successfully receive Dell's verification codes, it then leads to the separate problem of not being able to access my old digital purchases.

If Dell simply allowed other verification options, such as through the phone, text messages, alternate email addresses, etc., this problem would be solved so easily, but instead I am disinclined to purchase anything from Dell, if simply logging into the site to access my purchases is going to be so needlessly difficult.

And I spent an hour on the phone with Dell's customer service who failed to solve anything.

@OneTimeVerificationFail

I have the same problem for 2 days. Any solution yet?

I've also been having the same issue for two days now. I checked with my email provider (xfinity) to see if somehow the emails were being blocked, and they don't see any emails coming in from dell.myaccount.automated@dell.com, or any recent emails from Dell at all.  I don't want to create a new account with another email address because I have past purchases and accumulated points associated with the current one. When I try to go to online chat support it asks me to login (which I can't do!) And the support phone number I tried for dell account support routed me to a recorded message saying to login online!

I was lucky enough to have another browser which had access to my account. I added a mobile number and another option appears at login verification to text the code, instead of mail. This actually works correctly on the first browser which did not have access.

A phone rep might at least be helpful enough to add a mobile number to accounts that are having trouble thus resolving access until Dell fixes their 2FA.

@IzsakSVK Most likely that was from a previous attempt and the code has expired (10 min). Check the date/time the e-mail was sent.

I've had the OTP arrive 3 days, 9 hours, 50 minutes later.  I talked to customer care and they say they couldn't find my account.  I created another account using a different e-mail address. I tried to change the new account

to my original e-mail and it said that "This email address is already in use".

Today I was able to sign in to my dell.com account. The One time Password email arrived in a minute instead of many days later.
