Avamar moving to new VxRail cluster.

I am in the process of rebuilding a VxRail cluster to use the integrated vCenter and I have an Avamar Virtual machine (AVE) running on the cluster.

I need to move the AVE to the new cluster and then register it to the new vCenter.

Is there any reason why an AVE cannot be moved (vCenter to vCenter migration) or do I have to build a new AVE and do root-to-root replication in order to move it?

Is there a newer procedure than KB00480966 for moving to a new vCenter with AVE 18.2. This procedure basically involves retiring all the clients, then re-adding them to the new vCenter along with all the policies.
