How to reduce size of ebadatamine.log
Hello guys,
I have DPA 5.7 running in a VM and space is getting kind of tight. I look in the C:\Program Files\EMC\DPA\database\data directory and see that ebadatamine.log file is around 11G. How do i / can i shrink it ? I have also modified the datamine maintenance plan to keep less data in the database.
Thanks

SQL server has tools to reduce log file size. If u run backups of ur sql server it can problery be configured to shrink the log file.

this does not reduce the size of the log. I worked with support, they told me dbmaint would not decrease the size of the log but it would delete old data from the database itself.
