from a DPA perspective, yes, you can have multiple "Report Items" within a Report - the nett effect is a Merge of the output from all report items in the final output. Look at the standard "Backup Job Summary" report as an example. As for Avamar, you would have to provide more details on what you are trying to do - reports do not actually go out and query the avamar grids (or any other app for that matter) - the data is gathered by the collectors and inserted into DPA's own backend database. Your report will run against this backend database.
