VTL NDMP over FC

Hi,

We want to connect a DD VTL to a VG2 gateway to backup using NDMP thru FC ports (using Networker as backup server). Is it supported today? Sometime ago, DD only supports NDMP thru LAN.

Hi Polska22,

I have reached out to our VTL experts with this question and have received the following answer:

Prior to DDOS 5.0, NDMP was only supported via FC.  After 5.0 we support NDMP with FC and IP.    Attached is for Celerra, but will be same for VNX.
