Specs of the BBU in a DD2200 ?

I am looking for the Technical specifications of the Battery for NVRAM in a DD2200, this is not specifically mentioned in the product spec sheet.

Hello

Login to Data Domain System Manager using Web Browser > Go To Hardware > Chassis >

You will able to see NVRAM listed in the Diagram, Point the Mouse Pointer on the NVRAM it will show you all the details. The snap I have attached is for DD2500 as I do not have any DD2200 with me now..

Hi Deb,

I am not looking at the status of the NVRAM.

Thanks.

The BBU is designed to have enough power to perform 2 complete unplanned shutdowns. The DD2200 uses PRAM for transient data and the BBU will allow a system to vault the contents of PRAM twice before needing to be charged.

The vaulting process is a process where the system boots to a point where the contents of the PRAM can be written to disk. Once that occurs, the system then will shut down.
