Revert to a factory default state

Question

Is there a procedure to put a DD back to a factory default deleting all data and settings?

I am not really concerned with perfectly erasing the data, just want to have a blank system to properly document our setup process for each DD and we can then follow with each other unit.

I opened a case and apparently the only way is with the DDOS Boot USB drive and doing a clean install. Paul

I think DD support can do it for you over webex... I never did it, but I guess one could do the same manually by removing fs and rerunning system config stuff later on once fs is created.
