Merge MTrees
We are reaching our limit for MTrees and want to redesign our directory structure to reduce the number of MTrees in use. Is it possible to merge several MTrees into a new one? What options do we have?

You don't specify your use case; Assuming it is a basic filesystem you can use the filesys fastcopy copy command to effortlessly move data from one mtree to another. It requires planning of course; it is not a "merge mtree" function explicitly, but it may accomplish what you want to do
