How do I tell what software release I'm at and where do I get the update?
SSH needs to be upgraded on our DD2500. Where do I get the update and instructions to install?

You can visit support.emc.com. Login, then select "Find Support By Product". You can enter "Data Domain" to get a list of software available for that platform.
