Expanding DD6300 with 5 disks

Hi

We have recently bought additional 5 disks and I am trying to expand the storage. The disks are showing as spare when I connect them and add them to active tier. But when I am running "filesys expand" is gives med only 2TB more space. I have added 5x3.6TB. Please help. See config here:

Do you have sufficient capacity license? (CAPACITY-ACTIVE). I can't see that in 'elicense show' output..

the old man is correct. you should have been giving a LAC key or the SO nunmber to go to https://licensing.emc.com/ and get your new CAPACITY-ACTIVE key.  Once install you should be able to build another ~9-TB on space.  5 disk - 2 parity = 3 * 3.6 - overhead ~9 TB

I found the solution to this while creating a case to report it to EMC. Turns out there is a bug that causes it to report back the 2TB but if you go ahead and hit yes then it will expand out to the full avail space. https://emcservice.force.com/CustomersPartners/kA2f1000000GAIACA4 Welcome to Data Domain OS 6.0.2.20-587212 ----------------------------------------- ** ** NOTICE: There is 1 outstanding alert.
