Expanding DD2200 with 3TB drives

Hi Folks,

I got DD2200 for the lab without a maintenance contract. It came with 7 2TB SAS disks, but 2 of them displayed as absent. Looking around on eBay i can get replacements with 3TB drives but they are either for DD2500 or ES30. Would those drives technically work in DD2200?. Or would they work in its own 5 drive raid group? DDOS is 6.1.2

What about adding 2TB disks that sold for VNX arrays, are those compatible in firmware/ tray insert?
