https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-uk/product-support/product/dd6900-appliance/drivers seems to suggest it goes up until ddos7.11.0.0? Ranging from 6.2.1.90 all the way to 7.11. However the versions listed for download, don't seem to always exactly match what is stated in the DDOS release notes...

But in this case it is also stated in the ddos7.11 release notes https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/dd-os-7.11/dd-7.11_rn/supported-systems-and-software?guid=guid-b0b1f333-fdd2-4385-856f-b255424fee64&lang=en-us :

DDOS 7.11.0.0 is supported on the following DD systems and DDVE versions:

- Systems: DD3300, DD6300, DD6400, DD6800, DD6900, DD9300, DD9400, DD9800, and DD9900
- Virtual Edition versions: DDVE 4.0, DDVE 5.0, DDVE 6.0, and DDVE for DDOS 7.6 and 7.7

The LTS version DDOS 7.7.5.1 is supported on the following DD systems and DDVE versions:
● Systems: DD3300, DD6300, DD6400, DD6800, DD6900, D9300, DD9400, DD9800, and DD9900
● Virtual Edition versions: DDVE 4.0, DDVE 5.0, DDVE 6.0, and DDVE for DDOS 7.6 and 7.7

You'd have to check in each DDOS version release notes to see what is states what DD hardware versions are supported by it, as support for some DD's has ended, and hence in newer release notes such DD's no longer show up, while they did in earlier release notes for that very same DDOS major 6.x or 7.x version.

Current LTS (LongTermSupport) versions for DD (also 6900) are:

LTS2022 is 7.7.5.11
LTS2023 is 7.10.1.0

See: https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000205512

Also bear in mind that your backup software might be limiting your DDOS upgrade possibilities.

See DDBoost support for your backupsoftware if needed from ELAB-navigator at https://elabnavigator.dell.com/eln/modernHomeAutomatedTiles?page=Data_Domain

You don't want to upgrade to DDBoost version which your backupsoftware is not supporting.
