Duplication jobs fail with Media Write Error 84. DD990 OST with Symantec NetBackup

I have DD990 with Symantec NetBackup OST. I am getting a lot of Media Write errors 84 on optimized duplication jobs to a remote site which is due to DD running out of available streams. Would increasing the MAX_SIZE_PER_DUPLICATION_JOB on master to say 1TB help? Its at 100GB right now which is the default. I am thinking increasing the duplication job size would reduce the number of streams needed. Is there an EMC recommended value for this parameter? How does this affect DD? (impacts reads/writes?) . Any help will be appreciated.
