Dell DD6800 OS Upgrade
Hello,
As part of the Veeam Backup & Replication upgrade requirements, we need to upgrade our Dell DD6800 OS, which is currently version 6.2.1.60-686365.
- What is the highest version of DD OS compatible with this model, DD6800?
- Can we proceed directly to the highest compatible version, or should we first upgrade to a lower version?
- Is the Dell Support Team required for the DD OS upgrade?

as this will require an account to login to the dell support site, to download a DDOS upgrade package, did you actually look into the later DDOS release notes about which DD's are supported and what the steps required to perform a DDOS upgrade would be? So what did you look into and found out already? Or don't you have a support contract and no access to login to the Dell support site, as then you also would not be able to download the DDOS update rpm?
DDOS upgrades can be done by the end-customer themselves.
