Data Domain Replication Issue

Hello,

We have a DD6300 and DD6400 that we previously had an mtree replication pair established and working.

We disabled the pair to alleviate some space constraints. In the process the replication pair was broken and snapshots removed. I've followed some documentation on reestablishing the pair to pickup the replication. However, before it will start a resync, the web interface is displaying this error: "No common snapshot, Resync not possible."

Is there any way to restore the replication at this point?

Thanks!

Disabled and then what? Was data on the target deleted as there were capacity restraints?

so how were the replication pairs setup before and what was the "some documentation on reestablishing the pair" that you followed to set them up again? so which steps were performed?

Did you go through https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000046706 "Data Domain: MTree Replication Frequently Asked Questions"?

https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000010875 "Using initialize or resync of a MTree replication context"

"Attempting to initialize a MTree replication context that had previously been initialized will generate an error since the destination MTree is now read only. In that case the context will need to be resync'ed instead in order to re-start replication.

...

The process for resyncing a MTree replication context is similar to resync of a  directory replication context. However there is one key difference from directory replication as a new MTree replication context must first be initialized. MTree replication, resync without having first initialized the context will generate an error "
