That is a broad question. In order to give you a good answer I need to ask a few questions of you.
1. What backup apps do you use?
2. Are you using DDBoost?
3. What is your current version of DDOS?

This is going to be a dumb question, but what is the MIB file used for in reference to Data Domain? I see these options for download when I try and download the code.

1. Networker and Avamar.
2. Yes, we have a license for that feature so I'd imagine it will be used.
3. DDOS 5.7.0.10

Are you trying to solve some online exam? Sound like you are :-D
MIB is used for snmp traps. Packages on Linux are in rpm format so obviously you use rpm package.

Recommended versions (and current distribution ratio) are listed in DD document which is updated on daily basis and available in DD section under documentation. Normally, you would use the one most people use :-D However, you may also check release notes and decide you wish to use something else (or recommended) in case that it pays off to use it.

Coming from a support standpoint I would upgrade to DDOS 5.7.4.0 (Current stable code). Then when you have Networker and Avamar current I would revisit the looking at DDOS 6.x code.

Our current level of Avamar is 7.1.0-302, however we plan to upgrade to 7.4.1. At the very least 7.3.
Our current level of Networker is 8.0.2, however we plan to upgrade to 9.1.
Please let me know where I can find information that will help me figure which version of DDOS is the best fit for stability for both Avamar 7.3 and Networker 9.1.
Thank you,

You guys are funny
Agree with Hrvoje - this is where you should look - you should mark him as "correct answer";

5.7.3.0 is latest "target code" for 5.7 - you should be fine there since you're already in the 5.7 family.

The versions of Avamar and networker are going to drive this decision. Since they both use DDBoost you need to validate against the compatibility list. For the download you need the RPM file.
