Changing 10GbE SFPs LC to RJ45
Really struggling to get an official response on this. Trying to work out whether we have to buy new interfaces cards.
Anybody swapped 10GbE fibre (LC) SFPs for copper RJ45 in their data domain? In this case specifically it's a DD6900. The documentation appears to indicate that either is supported, but it's not stated whether it's the same interface card (4-port QL41164 HBAs) just with different - and therefore swappable - SFPs. The object is to get the DD connected to switches with 10GBaseT instead of the current 10GbE-SFP
Fingers crossed...
