XPS 8940, missing 2TB HDD, defective ODD

Recently purchased an XPS 8940 for home use. The unit arrived with a missing 2TB hard drive and a defective blue ray player. After spending over 3 hours on the telephone with customer care and technical support finally received the parts to replace. Spoke with a supervisor at technical support for 45 minutes about the horrible experience I had with one of the technicians who refused to connect me to a supervisor. I was supposed to get a call back from a Customer Care supervisor to discuss the issue as I have had a PC that was useless to me for almost 3 weeks. Have still not received their phone call. This has been one of the worst buying experience of my life. If I hadn't invested so much time and $ into setting up the PC before I recognized that I had issues with the machine. I will be waiting for their call.
