Won't apply advertised price
On June 1st, 2025, I contacted Dell (Mahomed - ID 1048140 - asking why an advertised price on the search page for laptop model number DB16250, was showing $699.99 as a base but when the laptop is selected, the price showed $1149. He said it was a mistake. I informed him as an advertised price, retailers are supposed to charge the advertised price. He said they would not do that. I also ran into some more prices on their laptops. I've been a Dell customer for several decades. Will contact corporate as well in Texas. Looking at HP now.

There is a base model with an i5 CPU and integrated graphics that probably is available for that price when it is in fact available. You can ask but the "base" model the price refers to isn't available in the US at the moment.

<Merged to your original Post. DELL-Admin>
Nothing to discuss. Wanted to provide feedback, but the site does not seem to provide a simple feedback form:
On June 2, 2025, I was on the Dell website to order a laptop. I found model number DB16250, which listed for $699.99. When I clicked on the details, the next page shows the cost to be $1149.99. I called customer service and spoke with Mohamed, ID 1048140, and was told the 699 price was a mistake. I informed Mohamed that companies are supposed to charge the advertised price. He told me Dell would not do that. I have been a Dell customer for several decades and service has gone downhill. I looked at a couple of other laptops and found the same issue for these other laptops as well.
