Warranty start date incorrect for new Dell monitor purchased from Flipkart

Hello Dell Team,

I purchased a brand new Dell monitor from Flipkart, but the warranty start date shown on the Dell support website is incorrect.

Product details:
• Product: Dell SE-Series 24" Monitor (SE2425HM)

<To protect you, your private information was removed from public view. All private data was saved to your private Case. DELL-Admin>
• Invoice Date: 31 January 2026
• Delivery Date: 01 February 2026
• Warranty on invoice: 3 Years Domestic Warranty

However, on the Dell website, the warranty is showing as starting in March 2025, which is before my actual purchase date. Because of this, almost one year of warranty appears to be missing.

I have the original Flipkart tax invoice with my name, address, serial number, and invoice date clearly mentioned.

Request:
Kindly correct the warranty start date based on the invoice date so that the full 3-year warranty period is reflected correctly.

Please let me know the next steps or if any additional documents are required.

You can try registering the monitor with Dell (assuming this is India, see below).

If there are any issues you'll need the seller's help -- Dell may not offer the full three year warranty depending on the specific model and given that it's almost a year old at this point.

If that's the case, return the monitor for a refund and purchase direct from Dell, or from a seller that isn't selling from old stock.

Thank you for your response.

To clarify, this is a brand new, sealed unit purchased from Flipkart from an authorized seller, and the invoice clearly mentions 3 years domestic warranty. The invoice date is 31 January 2026 and delivery was on 01 February 2026.

I am not requesting a refund or return. I am only requesting a warranty start date correction based on the valid customer invoice, which is a standard Dell process.

I have already tried retail registration, however the warranty still reflects the distributor shipment date instead of the end-customer invoice date.

Kindly request a Dell moderator to assist with correcting the warranty start date based on the invoice. I can share the invoice and serial number via private message as required.
