Warranty Repair Issue – Technician Damage Ignored, Need Urgent Help

Hi team,

I’m a Computer Science student currently facing an unresolved and heartbreaking issue with my Dell laptop.

My hinge was replaced earlier under warranty. But shortly after, the same area cracked again, right from the hinge screw point, which looks like a result of overtightening during that service. The crack origin is clearly visible.

Now Dell support has aggressively denied my request, saying that if the technician didn’t report it, it won’t be covered — even though the damage likely resulted from that service itself.

This laptop is under warranty. I rely on it for my studies and cannot afford another repair for something I didn’t cause.
