Warranty Claim on my dell mouse WM118

Hi, I had bought a dell mouse, WM118 last year from amazon and I am having constant issues with it. The scroll wheel is slipping and it doesn't trigger the inner scrolling mechanism (which feels like tick tick tick) so I can't scroll reliably. I either have to push the button down while scrolling, resulting in unintended middle clicks, or try to apply slight pressure at an angle and hope the scroll wheel doesn't slip.
