Vostro 3520, fold hinge and screen is broken need to fix it

The fold my Dell Vostro is broken I have bought it from flipkart and theres one year warrenty on it so I need you to repair it for me.

<Do not start multiple threads for the same complaint. The Dell Service Tag number is also present in the BIOS. Dell places the Service Tag on all products. Unknown as to why Flipkart removed the label. DELL-Admin>

No service tag, low manufacturing issue by Dell. I have bought a Dell Vostro 3520 from Flipkart and also it has been only 11 months and the hinge was loose and now it's broken due to its use and it has also damaged my screen. I need Dell to assist me because the warranty it still going on and it's an clear manufacturing issue. if your product can't even last a single year and the service tag is not also on the laptop so I can't even complaint they don't take problems. if you don't have service tag such cheap behaviour but I do have flipkart bill and I need dell to repair it. that's not how you treat your customers have some shame I hope dell connects with me and solves this issue it's so exaggerating for me not expected from you.

Until Dell agent responds to your inquiry during business hours, I have some experiences with Dell computers and Dell Community that I can provide as well as information that could answer some of your questions.

The Vostro 3520 was available to Dell customers in early 2022 and was officially discontinued and phased it out of their active sales channels around mid to late 2023.  Without purchasing it directly from Dell with an extended warranty, any system with one year basic warranty would have been out of warranty by now.

Any type of warranty offered on your device, it's better to bring that up to the reseller as Dell will not review a manufacturing defect claim on a device out of warranty.

As for the service tag information, it should be available on the bottom cover of the device unless it was removed by the seller.  You can also find it on the BIOS firmware screen.  Or, your purchase invoice as it was important information to distinguish that specific laptop.  Once, you locate the tag info, you can check for the warranty status on Dell support site  https://www.dell.com/support/contractservices/en-us

Bottom line is, you may have purchased an out of warranty device and the reseller did not provide any information upfront.  It's unfortunately but you will be responsible for the repair cost.  Take into consideration of today value and compare to total repair cost before proceeding.

As for the support from Dell community, we are computer users from all around the world trying to help out each others, especially for those with out of warranty support.  Read the forum code of conduct and you may find that reposting the same issue may considered spamming.  Forum mods may delete your duplicate post or combining them together.
