Unresolved issue with Dell Laptop, poor service sxperience

I purchased a Dell laptop less than 4 months ago, and it has been used for under 30 hours. Despite this minimal usage, the laptop has completely crashed, the screen has blacked out and only the Caps Lock light is functioning. I initially reported this issue on April 13, but the response I received was unsatisfactory and failed to address the core problem. Following your instructions, I completed the ownership transfer process. However, I am now being asked to purchase a warranty again and, shockingly, still pay for repairs even after doing so. This is unacceptable, especially considering that the device is practically new and clearly has a manufacturing defect. I have been a loyal Dell user for the past 5 years, but this experience has been the worst so far. I am extremely disappointed with your terms, conditions and customer care response. A faulty system should be Dell’s responsibility and it should be repaired under warranty regardless of whether the product is in the USA or India. I expect a prompt and fair resolution to this matter, with the laptop repaired or replaced without additional costs. Please escalate this complaint to the appropriate department and reply at the earliest.

Transfer or ownership and transfer of warranty are separate issues.  The only way you can transfer a warranty out of the US to India is if the system has an extra-cost onsite-service plan (or that you buy one, which is probably where the "purchase warranty" requirement arises.

Replacement is not an option for systems transferred out of the country of purchase by the buyer.
