Unhelpful and uncontactable courier.

My custom bulit 'all-in-one' has failed after only 6 months after a BIOS update. As parts are delayed for some time I had to have a PC so I ordered a refurbished laptop to keep me going and to act as a backup should my pc fail again in the future.

I was given a date of delivery and told to check the couriers website for progress reports. The courier is still showing "we have not entered your goods onto our system yet" and then I recieve an email from "NO-REPLY- DP World" telling me that my laptop will be delivered on Monday (today is Friday) that I have to make sure someone is there to recieve the laptop between 08:00 and 18:00 and that it is too late to alter the day or time. It does not say what happens if no-one is in. This is not acceptable from a company like Dell who have the choice of many couriers; couriers who give the end user a chance to switch the day or destination if circumstances are such that no on will be there to collect the parcel. Fortunately I will be in but that is purely good luck as I am only in on certain days during the week. A brand new pc failing after 6 month with no spares available and a laptop delivery 5 days after the scheduled date with a courier telling me to stay in all day to wait for it as there is no alternative day possible! 

NOT a happy customer, come on Dell surely you can do better.
