S2422HG, separated from housing, not covered under warranty
I have a Dell S2422HG curved screen monitor. Recently, the panel started to separate from the housing. According to customer service, this is considered physical damage and is not covered under the warranty. Despite telling them repeatedly that there has been no phyiscal damage to the monitor, the customer care personnel was insistent that I must have unknowingly damaged it. There have been other users complaining about this issue as well. The monitor is only 1 year old and has been desktop mounted and not moved since the day I got it. Truly disappointing as one would imagine that something like the adhesive that holds the screen together failing would be considered a manufacturing defect.
