Request for BIOS Password Removal – Dell Latitude 5310
I recently purchased a UK-used Dell Latitude 5310, and I discovered that the BIOS settings are locked with an Admin password. This prevents me from adjusting keyboard backlight and other settings.
I would like assistance in removing or resetting the BIOS password. I have the Service Tag .
Kindly assist or direct me to the appropriate support channel.
Thank you.

You need to contact your seller for the password.

@ejn63 I have messaged the vendor he said he didn't put any password on the laptop before sale . I'm thinking it might be from the previous user before been shipped to Nigeria if there's a way I can remove it it would be better cos it's not looking like inl will be able to get the password

Return the system to your seller for a refund (or you'll be adding the cost of a replacement system board to whatever you paid for the system).

There are boards for this system in the $50-80 range on EBay -- if you need the password removed, you'll need a replacement mainboard.
