PSU delays, order status "Pending Delivery Date"

Hi,

A sponsor of mine purchased a PSU on my behalf through Dell on the 17th of last month. Since then, the estimated delivery date has changed multiple times, and for the past two days, the status has shown only "Pending delivery date" with no updates. As I am not the account holder, I only have limited access to the order as a guest, so I’m unable to take further action myself. I wanted to ask—is this kind of delay normal for Dell? I’ve always understood that Dell prides itself on fast shipping and strong customer service. The PSU was urgently needed two weeks ago, and at the time of purchase, it was listed as having a 2–4 business day delivery window. Is there any indication that the package may be lost? What is causing the repeated delays? Any clarification or help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
