product Delivery wait time too long

why does it take so long to deliver a laptop, especially when there is shortage ? 3 weeks to deliver a Dell 16 plus 2 in 1 laptop in India or to India from any country is outrageous in 2025.  Ideally it should not take more than a week. I understand Dell is not as big as Amazon but I know it's definitely one of the biggest 'Computer making company' in the world.
