Price Match Promised, Now Dell’s Backtracking?
I’m honestly really disappointed right now. Before my laptop even shipped, I noticed a $720 price drop on the exact same config I ordered. I reached out to customer service and spoke with an agent who manually checked the price on their end and confirmed the drop. I was told clearly to contact them again after the order ships to get the credit processed.
Now that the laptop’s arrived and I’ve followed up, I’m being told that the “configurations don’t match” and my screenshot is “invalid” — which is ridiculous because the agent already verified everything. It honestly just feels like Dell is trying to dodge the price match at this point.
I did everything I was told, and I expected Dell to stand by what was promised. This experience is really frustrating, and not what I expected from a company like Dell. Please escalate this and make it right.
