Price gauging even before delivery

EXTENDED WARRANTY – GAUGING

 

I am extremely disappointed with the way this extended warranty issue has been handled.

 

Your team initially quoted me $1,166.30 for an extended warranty on a laptop that was only just ordered and not even shipped.

 

After I pointed out the online price of $114 (which I had to prove myself with screenshots from the DELL website), the offer was reduced to $534 – still nearly five times higher than the publicly advertised rate on the DELL website.

 

Frankly, I find this approach unacceptable. Not only am I a DELL personal user – I get my IT teams at work to order DELL because of my good experience in the past.

 

If this is how Dell treats loyal customers, this will be my second and final Dell product. Next time, I will be purchasing from Lenovo or another brand that values fairness and transparency.

 

 

DELIVERY DATE

 

Can someone please tell me when my laptop will actually be delivered?

 

I’ve asked multiple times, and your staff keep promising to get back to me – but I still have no answer. This level of service is extremely frustrating, especially for a confirmed order that has been manufactured in China, is being sent to Penang and then to Singapore.

 

I would appreciate a clear and accurate delivery date immediately – the laptop was manufactured several days ago and my first DELL is failing (hence the purchase).
