Premium Support not worth it.
Our computer is getting a BSOD, so I contacted Dell Support on WhatsApp as I cannot find a phone number. I have never experienced such poor customer service.
I provided the screen shot of the issue which showed it was a software issue but they had me check for 2 hours to determine what the hardware issue was. All results came back negative but they refused to send a technician and want me to mail in my computer.
We have purchased multiple systems from Dell over the last 30 years and when we had to engage support in the past or was always helpful but this experience was the worse I have encountered. The expectations were also for me to go and purchase items to fix the issue myself. If that is the solution why purchase the warranty.
After this encounter we will not be purchasing warranties or systems from Dell going forward, nor will our companies They would rather save cost of a service visit than keeping reliable customers.
