Precision 5560, second-hand, ownership transfer?
I recently acquired a Dell Precision 5560 laptop.
Unfortunately, I do not have access to the previous owner's information, as I purchased the device second-hand. I am writing to request your assistance in manually transferring the ownership and any active warranty to my name.
I am also happy to provide the system's service tag, and the proof of purchase you may require to facilitate this process. Please, let me know if there is any further information you need from me. I appreciate your support and look forward to your guidance on how to proceed.

hi there ,
unfortunately I have the same problem.
I started the online ownership transfer (previous owner unknown) 9days ago through Dell's website but unfortunately haven't got any information since then.
I tried to get information in a chat - I was told I should start another application.
could you please help me to solve this issue?

@ps0401 Hello, I actually thought they were gonna help me resolve the issue when I got their response here, but I was wrong, it was only for me to get an email from them saying they will not do it for me except I provide previous owner's information, which I already told them I do not have. Even after explaining to them that the vendor I purchased from, gets laptops in bulk from US and he couldn't get the previous owner's information anymore, because it's not even possible, there are hundreds of laptops always getting shipped.
I am already kindof regretting getting their product; I spent more than a million naira to get this Precision 5560 as a Grade a foreign used laptop; I should have just gone for the HPs I had always trusted. I was planning on buying a brand new HP Envy 14, I just felt to try DELL out for the first time, but there service is disappointing and unreliable.

WOW! I never knew DELL was this cunning & untrustworthy; I wouldn't have gone for their product if I knew, just 2 weeks ago of buying their product.
