New laptop no tracking, incorrect delivery date, delivered without notice
order <Private data removed from public view. DELL-Admin>17/3/25.
I purchased my expensive Laptop on 17/3/25.
It was shipped on the 19/3/25.
No tracking was available at any point.
I receieved an email informing me that my laptop was going to be delivered on 26/3/25, between 08:00 and18:00. Sadly, the laptop was NOT DELIVERED. I cancelled an appointment to make sure I was in!
I contacted customer services 27/3/25. The person thought the laptop was possibly still in air transport from China, but could not provide any tracking details either, or where it was! I was informed that a ferry company was delivering my laptop, this was incorrect and was changed to DHL. I was given a paltry £50.00 for my wasted day, but no-one in Dell knew where my laptop was, or when it was going to be delivered!
My laptop arrived unexpectedly, and without prior notice on the 28/3/25.thankfully I was in to receive the delivery!
I was somewhat upset that a company like Dell could not tell me where my expensive laptop was, apart from somewhere between China and the UK! and that I had wasted a complete day, waiting for a laptop that never arrived!
This poor level of service and communication is not what I expected from a large company like Dell, selling information, communication and digital devices. This transaction fell well below expected standards of customer experience and outcome. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
