New laptop, Amazon, return due to flickering

I order Dell Laptop on 1st Oct 2025 from Amazon website which was delivered to me on 4th October 2025. Upon switching on I found screen flickering issue. I had raised a complaint regarding the issue on Amazon website on 5th Oct 2025. The Customer care representative advices me to raise a complaint with brand as well. The technician from Amazon visited and checked the laptop and found the reported issue to be true. As I have been covered under replacement program I request you to look into the matter and resolve my issue. Screen image is also attached for your reference.

My laptop / purchase comes under replacement policy by the brand. I have put formal complaint to Amazon ( Seller) in my case. To which they replied to raise a complain with the brand. The brand will have to replace the item or provide a denial letter.

You have two options:

If you're looking to have the system replaced or refunded, it's your seller who needs to make that happen.  Amazon is decent with returns/refunds.  The same can't be said for sellers on Amazon, which sounds like the situation here.

If it's a repair you want, then make sure you register the system with Dell, and call for repair (NOT replacement).

Dell is not going to replace a system you purchased from a third party.
